VILLAGE OF TISKILWA PLAN COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING A Plan Commission Special Meeting was held on November 21, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at the Tiskilwa Fire Station with our Village Attorney Jacob Frost presiding. Roll Call: Trent Munson, Minnie Andriotis, Jerry Murphy and A.J. Egan present. Dwayne Proffitt absent. Village Board member Brett Klinefelter was present. Public comment was invited. No public comment was offered. Discussion centered on combining the Village Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals and replacing them with a single commission for convenience and economy- the “Planning and Zoning Commission”. Motion was made by Jerry Murphy and seconded by Minnie Andriotis to combine the two entities into one. Roll call vote- Murphy, Egan, Munson, Andriotis- Aye. Proffitt-Absent. New Rules of Procedures were suggested: and 3 year terms of office staggered, so there would always be members who have experience were also discussed. Motion to adopt the new rules and terms were made by A.J. Egan, seconded by Trent Munson. Roll call vote- Murphy, Egan, Munson, Andriotis-Aye. Proffitt, Absent. Motion to adjourn made by Jerry Murphy, seconded by Minnie Andriotis. Motion carried with Murphy, Egan, Munson, Andriotis voting-Aye. Meeting adjourned.
