NOTICE OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS MONDAY, JULY 18, 2016 6:00 P.M. Notice is hereby given of a Regular meeting of the Tomball City Council, to be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 6:00 p.m., City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The Tomball City Council reserves the right to meet in a closed session for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code. 1.0 Call to Order 2.0 Invocation  Led by Steve Allison, Chaplain, VFW 2427 3.0 Pledges to U. No Council/Board discussion or action may take place on a matter until such matter has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance with law.] 5.0 Reports and Announcements:  Tomball City Pool – 2016 Swim Season - Jerry Matheson Park Pool will operate normal hours through August 21. From August 22 through September 4, the pool will be open on Saturday and Sunday only. The pool will be closed every Monday during swim season 2016, except Memorial Day (May 31), July 4th, and Labor Day (September 5). Normal pool hours are: Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday: 12 p.m.-8 p.m.  TOMBALL KID'S CLUB – June 14, 17, 21, 24, 28 and July 1, 8, 12, 15, 19, and 22, 2016 - 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., at the Community Center  July 26, 2016 – Special Council Meeting – 5 p.m. (Annexation)  August 5, 2016 – Tomball Night  August 13, 2016 – 2nd Saturday at the Depot  Agenda Regular City Council Meeting July 18, 2016 Page 2 of 3  August 27, 2016 – Texas Music Festival – Noon-6:00 p.m.  September 10, 2016 – 2nd Saturday at the Depot  September 24, 2016 – 6th Annual Beetles, Brew & Barbeque Festival –Noon- 6:00 p.m.  October 1, 2016 – 3rd “Annual Paces for Pink” 5K Run  October 8, 2016 – “Zomball in Tomball”  October 22, 2016 – 5th Annual Tomball Bluegrass Festival – 12:00 Noon-6:00 p.m.  Reports by City staff and members of Council about items of community interest on which no action will be taken: 6.0 Approve the Minutes of the July 5, 2016 Special and Regular City Council Meetings 7.0 New Business: 7.1 Conduct First Public Hearing regarding the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 7.2 Discussion and Possible Approval of Locations for Handicapped Parking in Downtown Area 7.3 Approve Health Coverage Contracts for City Employees 7.4 Approve Resale Deed for Property acquired by Foreclosure Tax Sale in Cause No. 1998-29644, styled City of Tomball vs. Steele, Alvin L., et al, said Property being described as: Lot 35, Block 81, Located at 0 Chestnut Street, Tomball, Located in Harris County, Texas and being More Particularly Described in Volume 3159, Page 137 of the Real Property Records of Harris County, Texas, HCAD Acct No. 035- 276-081-0035, to Bradley Blackwell, in the Amount of $5,300.00 7.5 Approve Resolution No. 2016-15, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Tomball, Texas Regarding Release of an Approximately 17.438-Acre Tract of Land Located at 0 Treichel Road from the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction of the City of Houston (Pennington) 7.6 Award Contract for Project No. 2016-21, Community Center Remodel, to K.
