NOTICE OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS Monday, October 19, 2020 6:00 PM Notice is hereby given of a Regular meeting of the Tomball City Council, to be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 6:00 PM, City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. Adopt on Second Reading, Ordinance No. 2020-31, an Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Tomball, Texas by Amending Section 34-1, Definitions, and Section 34-7, Miscellaneous Sign Provisions, of Article I, In General, of Chapter 34, Signs, to Delete the Definition of Old Town Area and to Amend Regulations Regarding Sign Colors; Providing for Severability; Providing for a Penalty of an Amount Not to Exceed $2,000 for Each Day of Violation of Any Provision Hereof; Making Findings of Fact; and Providing for Other Related Matters H. New Business 1. Consideration to approve Zoning Case P20-238: Request by Brian Stidham - HT Raburn Reserve Development LP, to amend Chapter 50 (Zoning) of the Tomball Code of Ordinances by rezoning approximately 5 acres of land legally described as Lot 347 Tomball Outlots, from the Agricultural District to the Planned Development (PD-12) District. The property is generally located on the east side of South Persimmon Street, between Hufsmith-Kohrville Road and South Persimmon Street and between Lizzie Lane and Agg Road, within the City of Tomball, Harris County, Texas. Conduct Public Hearing on Zoning Case P20-238 Adopt, on First Reading, Ordinance No. 2020-29, an Ordinance of the City of Tomball, Texas, amending Chapter 50 (Zoning) of the Tomball Code of Ordinances by changing the zoning district classification of approximately 5 acres of land legally described as Lot 347 Tomball Outlots, within the City of Tomball, Harris County, Texas, from the Agricultural District to the Planned Development (PD-12) District; said property being generally located on the east side of South Persimmon Street, between Hufsmith-Kohrville Road and South Persimmon Street and between Lizzie Lane and Agg Road; providing for the amendment of the Official Zoning Map of the City; providing for severability; providing for a penalty of an amount not to exceed $2,000 for each day of violation of any provision hereof, making findings of fact; and providing for other related matters. 3. Approve Purchase of one (1) Chevrolet Colorado Crew (2x4), one (1) Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew, two (2) Chevrolet Malibu’s, and three (3) Police Interceptors through the State Buyboard Cooperative Purchasing Contract, in the amount of $308,450.00 4. Approve the Engagement Letter with Weaver & Tidwell, L.L.P. for the Independent Audit of the City’s Financial Statements and the Preparation of the CAFR As of September 30, 2020. I.
