MINUTES OF JOINT CITY COUNCIL & TEDC MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS Tuesday, September 02, 2025 4:00 P.M. The City Council of the City of Tomball, Texas, conducted the meeting scheduled for September 02, 2025, 4:00 P.M., at 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375. A. Mayor Lori Klein Quinn called the meeting of the City of Tomball Council to order at 4:01 P.M. Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions; [At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak on any matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of time not to exceed three minutes. No Council/Board discussion or action may take place on a matter until such matter has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance with law - GC, 551.042.] No public comments were received. C. Consent Agenda 1. Tomball Economic Development Corporation activity update. Executive Director Kelly Violette provided an update of the TEDC activities. 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Tomball Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors and the Tomball City Council will meet in Executive Session as authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, The Texas Open Meetings Act, for the following purpose:  Section 551.072, - Deliberations regarding real property: Deliberate the purchase, exchange, sale, lease, or value of real property.  Section 551.087, - Deliberation regarding Economic Development negotiations.  Executive Session Started: 4:20 P.M.  Executive Session Ended: 4:45 P.M.  Minutes Joint City Council & TEDC Meeting September 02, 2025 Page 3 of 3 3. The Tomball City Council and the Tomball Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will enter into a Workshop Session to discuss the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Tomball Economic Development Corporation Budget. Executive Director Kelly Violette presented the FY 2025-2026 Tomball Economic Development Corporation budget. (Exhibit A) D. Mayor Lori Klein Quinn adjourned the meeting at 5:02 P.M. Motion made by TEDC Member Latrell Shannon, Seconded by TEDC Member Danny Hudson to adjourn the meeting at 5:02 P.M. Voting Yea: Member Danny Hudson, Member Latrell Shannon, Member Brock Hendrickson, Member Wayne Hall, Member Becky Clepper ABSENT (EXCUSED): Member Bill Sumner Jr. Motion carried unanimously.
