MINUTES OF REGULAR PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS MONDAY, JUNE 10, 2019 6:00 P.M. 1.0 The meeting was called to order by Chair Barbara Tague at 6:01 p.m. Other members present were: Commissioner Darrell Roquemore Commissioner Dane Dunagin Commissioner Will Benson Commissioner Richard Anderson Others present: Craig Meyers – Community Development Director Loren Smith – City Attorney Wesley Stolz – Assistant City Engineer Amelia Lindley – City Planner Elizabeth Jones – Board Secretary 2.0 No Public Comments were received 3.0 Craig Meyers, Community Development Director, announced the following: • P19-053 249 Bypass and Alice Road Rezoning was approved on 2nd reading at City Council last week 4.0 Motion was made by Commissioner Dunagin, second by Commissioner Roquemore, to approve the Minutes of the Regular Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting of May 13, 2019. Motion carried unanimously. 5.0 New Business: 5.1 Consideration to Approve Final Plat of CMM HOLDINGS LLC: A subdivision of 4.00 acres (174,433.66 SQ FT) of land situated in the Claude N. Pillot Survey, Abstract No. 632, City of Tomball, Harris County, Texas. Wesley Stolz, Assistant City Engineer, presented a recommendation of approval with contingencies.  Minutes Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting June 10, 2019 Page 2 of 3 Motion was made by Commissioner Anderson, second by Commissioner Benson, to approve with contingencies. Motion carried unanimously. 5.2 Consideration to Approve Final Plat of PHILLIPS ENTERPRISE: A subdivision of 1.0028 acre tract, 43,682.84 Square Feet, in the Joseph House Survey A - 34 City of Tomball, Harris County, Texas. Wesley Stolz, Assistant City Engineer, presented a recommendation of approval with contingencies. Motion was made by Commissioner Roquemore, second by Commissioner Benson, to approve with contingencies. Motion carried unanimously. 5.3 Consideration to Approve Zoning Case P19-065: Request by Stan Winter with Jones Carter, to amend Chapter 50 (Zoning) of the Tomball Code of Ordinances by rezoning approximately 103.7 acres of land legally described as Lots 338, 339, 341 thru 344, 346, 349, 350, 352 thru 356, 358, 359, 361 thru 365 Tomball Outlots, within the City of Tomball, Harris County, Texas, generally located on the east side of South Persimmon Road from Lizzie Lane to Agg Road, from the Agricultural, Single- Family 20 Estate and Commercial Districts to the Planned Development District. Amelia Lindley, City Planner, presented the case and recommendation of approval. Scott with Jones | Carter (24003 Rich Glen Court, Spring Texas 77389) spoke on behalf of the request. The Public Hearing was opened by Chair Tague at 6:11 p.m. Hearing no comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 6:12 p.m. Motion was made by Commissioner Roquemore, second by Commissioner Anderson, to approve Zoning Case P19-053.
