NOTICE OF REGULAR TOURISM ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS MONDAY, JANUARY 23, 2012 6:00 P.M. Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the City of Tomball Tourism Advisory Committee, to be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The Tourism Advisory Committee reserves the right to meet in a closed session for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code. 1.0 Call to Order 2.0 Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions (At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak on any matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of time not to exceed three minutes. No Commission discussion or action may take place on a matter until such matter has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance with law.) 3.0 Approve Minutes of the October 24, 2011 Regular Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting 4.0 New Business: 4.1 Approve Request by The Regional Arts Council (TRAC) for Financial Support for Six Performances of "The Nutcracker" Ballet, held December 9-11, 2011, in the Amount of $11,200.00 4.2 Approve Request for Grant Funding for Production of a City of Tomball Mascot Costume, in an Amount not to Exceed $6,000.00 4.3 Approve Funding Request for the Tomball Honky Tonk Music Festival, to be Held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, in the Amount of $13,000.00 4.4 Approve Funding Request for Spring Art Walk, Tomball and Afternoon Concert Event Scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2012, in the Amount of $5,000.00 4.5 Approve Funding Request for the Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival at Depot Plaza, to be Held May 5 and 6, 2012, for the Estimated Amount of $26,000.00  Agenda Regular Tourism Advisory Committee January 23, 2012 Page 2 of 2 4.6 Approve Funding Request for the Memorial Day Weekend Chili Challenge, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Depot Plaza, in the Amount of $7,500.00 5.0 Adjournment CERTIFICATION I hereby certify that the above notice of meeting was posted on the bulletin board of City Hall, City of Tomball, Texas, a place readily accessible to the general public at all times, on the 20th day of January 2012 by 4:00 p.m., and remained posted for at least 72 continuous hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
