TOURISM ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

1.0 The meeting was called to order by Chair Holly Cook. Other Committee members

2.0 No Public Comments were received.
3.0 Reports and Announcements
Mike Baxter, Marketing Director, presented information regarding Success of Recent
Events, ongoing activities, and Upcoming Events for the rest of 2015.
4.0 Motion was made by Jeffie Cappadonna, second by Rodney Hutson, to Approve Minutes
of May 11, 2015 Special Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting and July 28, 2015

Motion carried unanimously.
5.0 New Business:
5.1 Motion was made by Steve Hughes, second by Rodney Hutson to Approve
Request from Charlie Hall from Spring Creek County Historical Association for
$30,000 fiscal budget for 2015-2016 Annual Operations.
Motion carried unanimously.
6.0 Motion was made by Jeffie Cappadonna, second by Mary Harvey, to adjourn.
Motion carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned.

Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the City of Tomball Tourism Advisory Committee, to be
held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 6:00 p.m., City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas
77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to
action. The Tomball Tourism Advisory Committee reserves the right to meet in a closed session
for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable
pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
1.0 Call to Order
2.0 Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions (At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak on any
matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of time not to exceed
three minutes. No Commission discussion or action may take place on a matter until such matter
has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance with law.)
3.0 Reports and Announcements:
• Update by Mike Baxter, Marketing Director, regarding Upcoming Events and ongoing
activities
4.0 Approve Minutes of May 11, 2015 Special Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting and July 28,
2015 Regular Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting.
5.0 New Business:
