1.0 The meeting was called to order by Chair Holly Cook. Other Committee members present

2.0 No Public Comments received.
3.0 Motion was made by Rodney Hutson, second by Paige Cassel to approve the minutes of the
June 25, 2019 Special Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting.
Motion carried unanimously.
4.0 New Business:
4.1 Motion was made by Paige Cassel, second by Ted Mielke to approve request by The
Houston Repertoire Ballet (HRB) for Financial Support for Eight Performances and Two Dress
Rehearsals of "The Nutcracker" Ballet, to be held December 6-8, 2019 at the Tomball High
School Theatre, in the Amount of $16,500.00.

Motion carried unanimously.
4.2 Motion was made by Ted Meilke, second by Melanie Sutton to approve Spring Creek County
Historical Association Request for $59,800.00 for Fiscal 2019-2020 Annual Operations.
Motion carried unanimously.
5.0 Motion was made by Paige Cassel second by Melanie Sutton, to adjourn.
Motion carried unanimously.

Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the City of Tomball Tourism Advisory Committee,
to be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 4:00 P.M., City Hall, 401 Market St. Tomball,
Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items
are subject to action. The Tourism Advisory Committee reserves the right to meet in a
closed session for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and
if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government
Code.
1.0 Call to Order
2.0 Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions [At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak
on any matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of time
not to exceed three minutes. No Council/Board discussion or action may take place on a
matter until such matter has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance with
law.]
3.0 Approve the Minutes of the June 25, 2019 Special Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting.
4.0 New Business:
4.1 Approve Request by The Houston Repertoire Ballet (HRB) for Financial Support
