Approved by City Council & WPCA October 21, 2024 Vote: Unanimous MINUTES Vol 27, Page 442 CITY COUNCIL & WPCA PUBLIC HEARING: PUBLIC HEARING - CHAPTER 22 ETHICS, CODE OF CITY HALL AUDITORIUM/ZOOM October 7, 2024 A PUBLIC HEARING was held by the City Council & WPCA of the City of Torrington on Monday, October 7, 2024, to solicit citizen input regarding the proposed revisions to Chapter 22 of the “Ethics, Code of”. Attendance was in person and by Zoom. Present at City Hall were Mayor Elinor Carbone, Corporation Counsel Michael Magistrali, City Councilors Drake Waldron, Stephen Ivain, Molly Spino, and Paul Cavagnero. Also present in person were Public Works Director Ray Drew, Treasurer Dan Farley, and MSW/Recycling Coordinator Linda Orr. Councilors David Oliver, and Anne Ruwet, and Manager of Budgets Erika Johnson joined via Zoom. Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. beginning with the Pledge of Allegiance. City Clerk Carol Anderson read the legal notice into the record. PUBLIC COMMENT No comments were submitted to the City Clerk’s Office before the meeting and no one in attendance wished to speak.
