MINUTES Vol. 27 Page 259 SMALL CITIES SUBCOMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING CITY HALL AUDITORIUM / ZOOM June 19, 2023 A REGULAR MEETING of the Small Cities Subcommittee of the City Council was held on Monday, June 19, 2023. Present at City Hall was Councilor Drake Waldron. Councilors David Oliver and Keri Hoehne joined via Zoom. Chairman Waldron called the meeting to order at 6:18 p.m. Small Cities – Friendly Hands Food Bank On a motion by Councilor Hoehne, seconded by Councilor Oliver, the Small Cities Subcommittee voted unanimously to forgive and release a Small Cities lien in the amount of $133,300, contingent upon the sale of Friendly Hands Food Bank property located at 50 King Street, as further described in the Mayor’s memo dated June 15, 2023, pending City Council approval. Councilor Waldron questioned whether Friendly Hands owns the property, and if the money will come back to the City once the property is sold. Councilors discussed it and determined that this property is owned by Friendly Hands Food Bank and that once the property is sold, they will use the proceeds to purchase a new property. Adjournment On a motion by Councilor Hoehne, seconded by Councilor Oliver, the Small Cities Subcommittee voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 6:24 p.m. Respectfully submitted by ATTEST: Heather Abraham, Asst.
