a. Mr. Sorrell provided a presentation regarding the Trenton 2050 Comprehensive Plan

1. July Financial Snapshot.
AUDIENCE OF PUBLIC
1. Doug Fagley – Representing SavMar regarding Mapleview 5 project and asked if
Council had any questions regarding this project.
2. Dave Adkins – He spoke about the Trenton 2050 Comprehensive Plan. He noted that
he was in favor of most of the plan and excited to see Trenton wanting to expand and
provide amenities like the communities he prefers to visit. His concern was the
expansion of Founders Park and how in one of the concepts it shows his property being
taken and used for the Park. Council expressed that is simply a vision of “what could
be” and that would be voluntary acquisition that may never come to fruition.

SERVICES, FOR THE DESIGN OF THE ELK CREEK PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE
CROSSING, AT A NOT TO EXCEED COST OF THIRTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS
($36,000.00) AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN ALL
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS RELATED THERETO.

REPORTS
1. Finance Director Mesisklis noted the back tax project is still continuing and more
residents will be sent to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office (AGO) and Council may
hear complaints from residents due to this.
AUDIENCE OF COUNCIL
Ms. Harris – No reports.
Ms. Combs – No reports.
Mr. Perry – Expressed kudos to the Police Department for their attendance at the VOA Festival.
Mr. Agee – Thanked everyone for being in attendance and welcomed back all the students to
school.
Ms. Montgomery – Noted that there are new neighbors building behind her house and to get
out and meet your neighbors, and that Trenton is a special place.
Vice-Mayor Perry – Expressed thanks to everyone who attended the recent movie in the park.
Reminder of Movies in the Park (9/9 – High School musical). September
23 will be Fall Fest featuring Southerland.
Mayor Woodrey – Expressed thanks to PD for all their efforts. Thanks to Vice-Mayor Perry for
making the movies in the park available. Noted that with school in session
to keep an eye out for children and to be aware that busses are considered
traffic lights so to stop when you see them flashing.
