Tamiko Troutman 7873 Waterton Ct. spoke about the Dayton Dance Workshop and asking for support for the city. April and Clayton Bowling 582 Olive Rd. spoke about their properity and the farm style they are wanting to live. They shared about the letter they receieved from Code Enforcement regarding the property. Pam and Percy Curry 784 Olive Rd. shared about the zoning rules that have been sent to her in a letter regarding her horses and that they cant stay. MOTION TO SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING AND REQUEST THE LAW DIRECTOR TO DRAFT LEGISLATION PROHIBITING THE CULTIVATION, DISPENSING, AND PROCESSING OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA IN THE CITY OF TROTWOOD, OHIO. Mayor McDonald requests a motion on this item. A motion was made by Brown, seconded by Vice Mayor Gales, that this Staff Report be read and filed. Resolutions A. A RESOLUTION BY TROTWOOD CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE LOGO AND BRANDING PREPARED FOR THE CITY OF TROTWOOD BY CATAPULT CREATIVE. Attachments: R18-18 R18-18 Attachment Council Member Page shared that she didn't think the logo was unique and she would vote whatever the constituents want to do. Council Member Finley asked if this was set in stone and wanted to know if there was anymore input from citizens as well as the cost to roll it out. Council Member Vaughn shared that he did his part in asking citizens how they felt about it before he voted. He shared that he feels this is something we should move forward with. Council Member Kelley shared he would like to know the costs as well. Council Member Brown asked for clarification from Mrs. Finley regarding her reasoning. A motion was made by Council Member Finely, seconded by Council Member Page, that this resolution be tabled until the next regular meeting of Council. The motion failed by the following vote: Nay: Councilmember Brown, Vaughn, Vice-Mayor Gales, Mayor McDonald - 4 Aye: Councilmember Page, Finley, Kelley - 3 Mayor McDonald requests a motion on this item. A motion was made by Brown, seconded by Vaughn, that this Resolution be approved. A RESOLUTION BY TROTWOOD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY INTERNET AUCTION OF MUNICIPALLY OWNED PROPERTY WHICH IS NOT NEEDED FOR PUBLIC USE OR IS OBSOLETE OR DEEMED UNFIT PURSUANT TO OHIO REVISED CODE 721.15(D) DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2018.
