A motion was made by Vice Mayor Brown and second by Ms. Gales to approve. Citizen comments on a Public Hearing will be accepted at the appropriate time. VII. Motion to Approve the Consent Agenda Mayor McDonald asked for a motion. Councilwoman Finley stated, corrections to the motions recorded on the meeting minutes for February 3 and March 2 needs to be adjusted. A motion was made by Vice Mayor Brown to approve with the corrections as captured by the Clerk of Council and a second by Councilwoman Gales. Resolutions City of Trotwood Page 2 City Council Meeting Minutes April 6, 2020 R20-37 A RESOLUTION BY TROTWOOD CITY COUNCIL OBJECTING TO THE ISSUANCE OF A LIQUOR PERMIT BY THE OHIO DIVISION OF LIQUOR CONTROL TO SHEIKHS RESTAURANT & LOUNGE LLC DBA SHEIKHS FOR PREMISES SITUATED WITHIN THE CITY OF TROTWOOD, OHIO AND DESIGNATING AND AUTHORIZING OFFICIALS OR EMPLOYEES TO ACT IN FURTHERANCE OF SUCH OBJECTIONS. Attachments: R20-37___Resolution re objections to liquor permit Sheikhs Police Chief Erik Wilson said the city is objecting to this request and would like to schedule a hearing in the county seat. The information within the application is not in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code Section 4303.292 as stated within the resolution. No further discussion. Mayor McDonald asked for a motion. A motion was made by Mr. Vaughn to approve R20-37 legislation as submitted and second by Ms. Finley.
