Special Presentations and Recognitions A. PR31-18 Presentation - Homebuyer’s Workshop - Aaron Lumpkin, Banking Manager and Kenya K. Taylor, Community Development Banking MLO, Keybank Mortgage Attachments: KeyBank Mortgage - Homebuyer's Workshop 10.15.2018 Mr. Aaron Lumpkin, Banking Manager and Kenya Taylor Community Development Banking MLO for KeyBank Mortgage spoke about several mortgage products for perspective homebuyers and the distinct rewards they have to offer. In their homebuyer workshop you will learn how to establish financial wellness with various loan's such as: refinancing for fixed rate and adjustable rate mortgages, 80-10-10 mortgages, veterans affairs (VA), federal housing authority (FHA), Key Community Mortgage, Key Bank Physician, Key Bank Dentist, and Key Bank Veterinarian. PR33-18 Attorney General’s Office Delinquent Income Tax Collections Update - Donna Sue Bowman, Income Tax Administrator Donna Sue Bowman Income Tax Administrator explained, their collections enforcement section is responsible for collecting outstanding income tax debt from citizens debt. Any debt that is owed the the State of Ohio for state agencies, institutions, boards, commissions, public universities, hospital and local government entities can be collected through the Ohio State Attorney General office. The city mails out three (3) reminder letters for citizens to submit their payment or they have the option to stop by their office to make payment arrangements. Due to the amount of outstanding income tax collections, it's the city desire to enter into a contract with the Ohio Attorney General Office to collect the debt owed as our enforcement authority. First step will be to the AG office, then to a collection agency (they may contact an attorney if they wish), and finally the payment will go to the city. City Council wants to move forward with the legislation at our next city council meeting. C. PR34-18 City of Trotwood Resurfacing Roads Project - Shelby Ingle, P.R., Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Engineers Attachments: Pavement Presentation 10.15.18 Engineer Shelby Ingle, with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Engineers submitted their report showing the distress road pavement in our city. Based on their analysis: 13% are in excellent condition, 21% good, 31% fair and 35% poor condition. In 2018 we paved 3 miles or $500,000 of road on North Union, Olive & Wolf Creek Pike. Some chip seal treatments were used on 4 miles totaling $275,000 on Snyder & Luthern Church, Snyder& Olive Roads. All our roads are in a rated according to the preventative and repair treatment's all based on cost effectiveness. Chip sealing vs. asphalt overlays uses the same ingredients as asphalt concrete paving, but the construction method is different. VI.
