CONVENE: 11:04 a.m.
PRESENT: Boardmembers: Peter Agabi, Rick Sapp and Jim Tuggle
Staff: Michelle Sutherland, Administrative Director, Matt Middleton, HR
Analyst, Recording Secretary Cheryl Almon
Guests: Family members of Claimant
CALL TO ORDER – Chairperson Sapp called the meeting to order and Clerk Sutherland called
ROLL CALL roll.
AGENDA: Boardmember Tuggle moved, Boardmember Agabi seconded to approve
the agenda, motion carried
APPROVAL OF Boardmember Tuggle moved, Boardmember Agabi seconded to approve
MINUTES: the minutes of March 9, 2023 as submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT Family presented background on claim request.
Review of submitted claim. After discussion, Boardmember Tuggle
DISCUSSION: moved, Boardmember Agabi seconded, motion to approve claim carried.
Discussion of revisiting claim at next meeting; next meeting moved to
November 30, 2023.
NEXT MEETING: The next meeting will be held on November 30, 2023.
ADJOURNMENT: With there being no further business, Chair Sapp adjourned the meeting at
11:47 a.m.
