Public Comments – Mike Usher and Brandon Kennedy provided a presentation on a proposed mural for the skate park at the Park and Rec facility. Cindy Bernard introduced herself to the PAAC. 2. City Report – Keith Gardner announced that a Planning workshop would take place at City Hall on November 16, 2022 at 6 PM. 3. TBID Report – No report was provided. 4. Minutes – Anna Stump made a motion, Pat Flanagan Seconded to approve the minutes of the October 19, 2022 meeting, 4-0 approved. 5. The PAAC had a discussion on the length of terms for members. 2-year and 4- year terms were discussed. The PAAC continued the item to the December meeting 6. The PAAC had a discussion on whether the committee should be a five member or seven member committee. The PAAC continued the item to the December meeting. Page 3 of 5 7. Art and Culture Venues and Exhibits – Anna Stump provided list of venues to the PAAC, is trying to create a better understanding of the purpose of the PAAC. 8. Review of Exhibition Guidelines – This item was continued to a future meeting. 9. Hanging of the Art Exhibits – This item was continued to a future meeting. 10. PAAC Budget Review – 11. PAAC Mission and Goals- The PAAC discussed creating a new mission statement. REPORTS, REQUESTS, AND COMMUNICATIONS: The PAAC discussed the difference between the PAAC and Action 29. Public Comments – None 2. Art Show Themes - Keith Gardner provided an overview to the PAAC and read Valerie Meads comments into the record. The PAAC had a discussion on the different themes. Anna Stump made a motion and Pat Flanagan seconded to have the intake day of January 13, 2023. 3-0 approved Pat Flanagan made a motion and LeeAnn Clarke seconded to have the theme for the art exhibit as “Desert Contradictions”. 3-0 approved REPORTS, REQUESTS, AND COMMUNICATIONS: The PAAC had a discussion on postcards.
