All vendors must provide proof of BUSINESS Liability insurance plus Release & Waiver of Liability and Hold
Harmless & Indemnification agreement naming the City of Twentynine Palms. Attach insurance
documentations to your application.
Vendor Regulations:
1. All food booths must:
a. Cover the ground and have a fireproof canopy, fire extinguisher, and No Smoking Signage
b. Have a source of light & food warming i.e., stove, BBQ, lanterns)
c. Have a source to keep food cold [i.e., ice chest, refrigerator).
d. Three compartment sinks in compliance with health codes.
e. Use serving utensils and plastic gloves, per San Bernardino Health Department
f. Provide napkins, paper plates and plastic eating utensils
2. Washing of vehicles, trailers or motor homes is NOT allowed on park grounds.
3. All trash must be disposed of in the large dumpsters provided. DO NOT fill smaller trash receptacles intended for
attendees.
4. All vendors park at their own risk. A limited number of vehicles needed for loading and unloading of
merchandise may park near vendor spaces. Please limit the loading and unloading of merchandise to non-
operational hours. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH THE MIDWAY DURING EVENT HOURS!
5. Booths must be clean and neat at all times. Extra supplies and equipment must be stored OUT OF SIGHT.

Objective
Box of Kittens will assist in curating evergreen digital content, both video and stills, for Visit 29 Palms. Content
will be structured for placement on DMO website and social channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and
be sized accordingly for best practices. Production team will create content that will both assist the DMO in

About the Box of Kittens
Anndee Laskoe is an award winning journalist with a degree from the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Southern California. She spent 16 years in television news,
both in front of and behind the camera, anchoring, reporting, editing, and producing countless segments on a broad range of topics. She worked for a few years doing public relations
for the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians and their many enterprises, and spent the last several years as a director of brand content for a tourism bureau, where she created, produced,
wrote, directed, and oversaw the majority of digital, social, and broadcast content for the brand.
Ian Hughes is an artist, and creative generalist with decades of experience shooting, editing, coloring, and doing graphic and sound design for a multitude of commercial and digital
projects. He spent 13 years in media production in San Diego and the Coachella Valley, where he honed his technical skills. He has worked on a wide range of municipal video projects
and has proven to be a trusted resource in building quality creative content for brands. Together Anndee and Ian run Box of Kittens, a boutique production house, based in the Coachella
Valley, where they both grew up. They have won two Emmy Awards, earned four additional Emmy nominations and countless local and regional Ad Federation Awards for their video
projects.

Goals - To raise awareness for 29 Palms and its proximity to
Joshua Tree National Park for weekend getaways and
encourage visitors to stay in 29 Palms while visiting the park.
Deliverables:
■ 1 Video (48 hours in Joshua Tree National Park with Toddlers) - The video will focus on visiting Joshua
Tree with a family and the home base being 29 Palms. It will show the hotel, food, etc that we visit in the
city before going into the park and on the way back out after exploring. Posted to California Through My
Lens YouTube Channel (207k subscribers)
■ 1 Instagram post (carousel) with photos from Joshua Tree and 29 Palms

• The Alpod is a new twist on the modular,
factory-build home. It is built 100 percent
inside a factory, delivered to the site, and
attached to traditional utilities. Its heavy-
gauge steel rib structure is clad in thick
honeycombed anodized aluminum panels.

supply chain issues and high demand

as a mobile visitor center that in addition
