Infrastructure Committee
Draft Notes 1-9-20
In attendance: Chris Stovall, Peter Gulbronson, Barry Brown, Stan Bearden, Shawn
Gillen, George Shaw, Monty Parks, Bubba Hughes, Spec Hosti, Alice Jonsson
Shawn Gillen called the meeting to order at 5:30.
Barry Brown made a motion to approve the draft minutes from Dec. 12, 2019.
George Shaw seconded. Motion passed.
Paving of Parking Lots at 19th St., Chatham Ave., S. End Butler Ave.: Peter
Gulbronson will collaborate with Pete Ryerson to establish how many spaces
could fit in these parking lots. They will report back to the committee with the
data.
Backflow Preventers at Breezy Point Outfalls: Peter Gulbronson will update the
group at the next meeting on status of orders.
Jaycee Park Field: Peter Gulbronson will be exploring a grant that could positively
impact funding of field rehab. He will report back to the committee with some
specifics.
Lighting for Trash Compactor: Peter Gulbronson will update committee at next
meeting.
Lights for Memorial Park Field: Haley Hill has been out. When she returns to work
she and Peter Gulbronson will meet to develop a comprehensive park plan to
include Memorial Park. Peter Gulbronson will share more information with the
committee once they have had a chance to meet.
Marsh Hen Trail: Peter Gulbronson will report back to the committee with an
update on the cost of a sidewalk. The remainder of the trail to Battery Row will be
on the next Infrastructure agenda.
Paving of DPW: This refers to the entrance of the DPW and will be part of the
Capital Improvement discussion.
Status of Backflow Prevention and Grease Management Program: It will be on the
Council agenda for the first meeting in February.
Water Meter and Backflow Prevention Devices at Condos and Apartments: This
will be on the Council agenda for the first meeting in February.
914 Miller Ave.: Peter Gulbronson will bring back more information to the next
meeting.
Inlet Ave. Storm Water Drain Outfall: Peter Gulbronson will report back on
permitting and any additional information.
Peter Gulbronson and Shawn Gillen will go to Council during the budget process
to discuss replacing the fence at DPW and will make sure it’s in the CIP.
Peter Gulbronson will start preparing the bid package for showers and the bid will
be advertised.
Shawn Gillen made a motion to adjourn. George Shaw seconded. Motion passed.
Meeting adjourned at 6:20.
