City of Tybee Island Tybee Island Marine Science Center ad hoc Committee Draft Minutes for Dec. 6th, 2019 In attendance: Shawn Gillen, George Shaw, Barry Brown, Maria Procopio, Matt Lieb, Tom Olson, Craig Clements At 11:03 Shawn Gillen called the meeting to order. Barry Brown moved to approve draft minutes from Nov. 15th, 2019. Matt Lieb seconded. Motion passed. Matt Lieb did the two-week look-ahead. He needs to talk to Todd Smith about running some conduit. Shawn Gillen gave him Todd’s number. Foam insulation is going in. The site will be closed from Dec. 24th, 2019 to Jan. 3rd , 2020. They are having trouble getting GA Power to show up and stay to complete tasks. Shawn Gillen said they should be starting on the crossover at the end of January 2020. It must be done before April 1st, 2020. Maria Procopio said she would like to see the estimate on the materials being used for the crossover. She would also like to look at alternatives for the railings on the crossover. Shawn Gillen is open to options. The group discussed the North End parking lot. It will remain as is for a couple of years. Shawn Gillen made a motion to adjourn. Matt Lieb seconded. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 11:21.
