City of Tybee Island Tybee Island Marine Science Center ad hoc Committee Draft Minutes 2/7/20 In Attendance: Wanda Doyle, Bubba Hughes, Monty Parks, Craig Clements, Shawn Gillen, Barry Brown, Alice Jonsson, Tom Olson, Peter Gulbronson, Matt Lieb, Matt Schivera, George Shaw, Maria Procopio Shawn Gillen called the meeting to order at 11:05. Shawn Gillen made a motion to approve the draft minutes from 1/17/20. Barry Brown seconded. Motion approved. Barry Brown asked about protecting the building when the fence comes down. It should come down the first or second week of March. Shawn Gillen will talk with Chief Bryson and will report back to the committee. Shawn Gillen will also inquire about where the camera is aimed in that parking lot. The group discussed recreation elements of the project. Monty Parks, West Construction, and Craig Clements will meet Mon to look at landscape and other details. Bubba Hughes will also probably attend. The next meeting will be February 28th, 2020. Barry Brown made a motion to adjourn. Shawn Gillen seconded. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 11:30
