8-12 Infrastructure Committee

City of Tybee Island Minutes Infrastructure Committee 8/12/20 In attendance: Danny Carpenter, Peter Gulbronson, Joel Fobes, Walter Hattrich, Shawn Gillen, Monty Parks, Alice Jonsson, William Moseley The meeting was called to order at 10:04. ~ July 8th Draft Minutes to be approved at September meeting. ~ Peter Gulbronson will be checking with Jan LeViner to establish the status of the approved grease management ordinance. ~ Peter Gulbronson will see if the Memorial Park recycling container can be moved so that cameras can watch it. ~ Phase Two of the recycling program will be discussed at a meeting with Monty Parks, Peter Gulbronson, and Shawn Gillen. Alice Jonsson will send out invite. ~ Portable Lights purchase will require some budget discussions. Will be around $16,000. ~ Peter Gulbronson will be looking into graders that are smaller. ~ Derelict Houses will be moved to the Public Safety Committee. ~ Marshal Hattrich and Shawn Gillen will meet to discuss the topic of derelict houses. Alice Jonsson will set up meeting. ~ Building Assessments will be put into the CIP. We should have a five-year CIP put together for all departments by Sept. or Oct. ~ Peter Gulbronson will speak with Bubba Hughes about some potential legal issues with regards to the company who installed the watering system in the median. ~ Peter Gulbronson will begin a plan for the welcome sign and surrounding area. ~ Shawn Gillen will put a new portable message sign in the CIP.
