City of Tybee Island Tybee Island Marine Science Center ad hoc Committee Draft Minutes April 24th, 2020 In Attendance: Barry Brown, Wanda Doyle, Matt Schivera, Matt Lieb, Chad Zittrouer, Craig Clements, Maria Procopio, Shawn Gillen, George Shaw, Alice Jonsson, Bubba Hughes Shawn Gillen called the meeting to order at 11:00. The group discussed the portion of the property where the recreational elements will go and challenges related to some large cement debris from years past that was uncovered and how erosion and shifting dunes could be mitigated. They also discussed costs associated with different approaches. The group toured the new TIMSC building and discussed myriad aspects of the building. The group discussed five change orders that have all been addressed. Barry Brown made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Matt Schivera seconded. Meeting adjourned at 12:10.
