Big Picture/Policy Issues o Consider an explicit Vision for Tybee by the Year 2030  Make World Views explicit (we can't keep them from coming...) and discuss/debate the implications for future of the City  Review the Comprehensive Plan in the context of these considerations  Reframe the objectives and priorities in today’s context  Don’t wait for 5 years to update the Plan and use it to guide future budget considerations  What size population should the City consider supporting  Residents number 3,000 but over the course of a year, on average, there are approximately 30,000 people on the Island at any given time (based on latest traffic counts)  How do we maintain a residential community in the face of growing tourism?
