Town Council Regular Meeting

Town of Tyrone Special Called Council Meeting Minutes June 4, 2015 6:00 p.m. Present: Mayor Eric Dial Mayor Pro Tem Gloria Furr Council Member Ken Matthews Council Member Linda Howard Town Manager Kyle Hood Town Clerk Dee Baker Town Attorney Dennis Davenport Council Member Ryan Housley was absent The Invocation was be given by Outreach Pastor, Danny Stovall from Living Proof Church and was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Public Comments Approval of Agenda Council Member Howard made a motion to approve the agenda. Council Member Matthews seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0. PUBLIC HEARING: 1. Proposed Budget for FY 2015-2016 Mr. Hood stated that all corrections have been made from the budget workshop; he then recommended to move forward with the Public Hearing. Mayor Dial opened the Public Hearing for anyone that wished to speak. Kevin Gooding who lives at 120 Shankhill Ridge, stated that he appreciated everything that has been accomplished since last year. He expressed gratitude for the cart path improvements along with the road enhancements. He inquired as to the amount of funds specifically in the Capital Improvement Project, cart path line item. He stated that he recalled that $200,000 was slated for that project for the five year term. Mayor Dial concurred. Mr. Gooding thanked Mayor, Council Mr. Hood and staff for a job well done and for being a responsive body. Adjournment Council Member Howard made a motion to adjourn. Motion was approved 3-0.
