Minutes Public Safety Committee Commission UN Regular Meeting Minutes Thursday, April 20th, 2023 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. OF 1. Approval of Minutes UM Amy made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Ruthann. Unanimously approved. 4. Public Comments No public present EN T 5. WPFR update/ report out – Assistant Chief Scott Adams N/A 6. Public Safety update / report out – Chief Premo No updates for tonight. 8. Final 2023 workplan review/ discussion/ approval Commission discussed the components of the proposed workplan and agreed that it represented last week’s discussion. Kim Nordby made a motion to approve the CY 2023 PSAC workplan and move it to Council for approval, Ruthann seconded the motion. Unanimously approved. UN 9. Other business KN: Status on police blotter? Chief is meeting with Mayor and MPT to go over the components of the OF proposed blotter. Looking at adding a “bolo” feature that JF shared with Chief. There are things that pop up from time to time that could be added to the blotter. KN: The Economic Development Commission may want to look at trends and put out something to the business community that is working to help prevent crime and/or create a safer place to do business. 10. Adjournment FICA Emily Calhoun motioned to adjourn the meeting and Ruthann seconded to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 6:53PM.
