Smyth, City Clerk PUBLIC HEARING Monday, August 7, 2017 ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Aaron Ammons; Bill Brown, Dean Hazen, Eric Jakobsson, Jared Miller, Diane Wolfe Marlin, Charles Smyth ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: None ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Dennis Roberts Alderman Ward 5; Maryalice Wu, Ward 1 STAFF PRESENT: Brandon Boys; William Gray; Elizabeth Hannan; Wendy Hundley; Kyle Hensch; Lorrie Pearson; Christopher Marx; Sylvia Morgan; John Schneider, James Simon OTHERS PRESENT: David Borchers; Members of the Media I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL With a quorum present, Mayor Marlin called the public hearing to order at 7:53 p.m. Started late following Town Board public hearing and regular meeting. Mayor Marlin opened the hearing and stated the purpose of the hearing, which was to receive public, input on an Ordinance Approving an Annexation Agreement at 801 North Smith Road / David Borchers. II. PUBLIC INPUT David Borchers was available to answer any questions or concerns from council or audience present. He said that he wants to build a building for his construction company. Alderman Jakobsson welcomes his business. Alderman Ammons asked what kind of Construction Company it was. Mr. Borchers said that it is an interior construction company and no construction building will be on site. III. ADJOURNMENT There being no further comments, Mayor Marlin declared the hearing closed at 7:55pm. Wendy M. Hundley____ Recording Secretary This meeting was taped.
