Clark, Town Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD Monday, March 3, 2014 The Cunningham Township Board met in regular session Monday, March 3, 2014 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Laurel Lunt Prussing Trustees: Carol Ammons; Bill Brown; Eric Jakobsson; Michael P. Madigan; Diane W. Marlin; Dennis Roberts; Town Clerk: Phyllis Clark Supervisor: Michelle Mayol Assessor: Absent ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: None ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Charlie Smyth, Trustee; Dan Stebbins, Assessor OTHERS PRESENT: Fred Grosser; Members of the Media A. ROLL CALL Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:00 p.m. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Trustee Carol Ammons made a motion to approved minutes from meeting held on February 3, 2014. Trustee Dennis Roberts seconded. Michelle Mayol made corrections to the minutes. It should said “regular meeting” not a “special meeting”. After corrections, motion Carried by voice vote. C. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS The following items were presented in omnibus fashion: 1. Town Fund 2. General Assistance Fund Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approve the Town Fund in the amount of $ 43,510.02 and the General Assistance Fund in the amount of $ 26,830.50. Trustee Diane Marlin seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. D. REPORTS OF OFFICERS Michelle Mayol, Township supervisor gave a brief update on the impact the new Affordable Care Act has had and how the Township plans to allocate current funds to continue providing services. At this time the Township is negotiating a contract with a local dentist to provide clients with dental services that are not covered by the Affordable Care Act. E. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS There were none. F. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Cunningham Township Board Meeting Minutes: March 3, 2014 There were none. G. NEW BUSINESS There were none. H. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Cunningham Town Board, Chair Prussing declared the meeting adjourned at 7:11 p.m. Wendy M.
