Clark, Town Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD Monday, April 7, 2014 The Cunningham Township Board met in regular session Monday, April 7, 2014 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Laurel Lunt Prussing Trustees: Carol Ammons; Bill Brown; Eric Jakobsson; Michael P. Madigan; Diane W. Marlin; Dennis Roberts; Charlie Smyth Town Clerk: Phyllis Clark Supervisor: Michelle Mayol Assessor: Dan Stebbins ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: None ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: None OTHERS PRESENT: Fred Grosser; Rev. Dr. Evelyn Underwood; Members of the Media A. ROLL CALL Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:03 p.m. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approved minutes from meeting held on March 24, 2014. Trustee Carol Ammons seconded. Michelle Mayol made a correction to minutes on first sentence. It should read “Special” not “regular” after corrections motion carried by voice vote. C. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS The following items were presented in omnibus fashion: 1. Town Fund 2. General Assistance Fund Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approve the Town Fund in the amount of $ 44,822.94 and the General Assistance Fund in the amount of $ 25,309.85. Trustee Eric Jakobsson seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. D. REPORTS OF OFFICERS Michelle Mayol gave an update of the new dental benefits that will be provided by the Township. E. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS Dr. Rev. Evelyn Underwood addressed the Board regarding services provided at the Township Office. F. UNFINISHED BUSINESS There were none. G. NEW BUSINESS Cunningham Township Board Meeting Minutes: April 7, 2014 Page 2 of 2 1. Designation of FY 2015 Tentative Budget Michelle Mayol presented FY 2015 Tentative Budget for approval. After presentation Trustee Charlie Smyth made a motion to approve FY 2015 Tentative Budget. Trustee Diane Marlin seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. 2. Resolution No. T-2014-04-001R: Resolution Authorizing Request to Intervene in Formal Hearing with the Illinois Department of Revenue Dan Stebbins, Township Assessor presented Resolution T-2014-04-001R for approval. After presentation Trustee Charlie Smyth made a motion to approve Resolution No. T-2014-04-001R. Trustee Dennis Roberts seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. H. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Cunningham Town Board, Chair Prussing declared the meeting adjourned at 7:19 p.m. Wendy M.
