Clark, Town Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD Monday, December 7, 2015 The Cunningham Township Board met in Regular session Monday, December 7, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Laurel Lunt Prussing Trustees: Aaron Ammons; Bill Brown; Eric Jakobsson; Michael P. Madigan Diane Marlin; Dennis Roberts Charles Smyth Town Clerk: Phyllis Clark Supervisor: Michelle Mayol Assessor: Dan Stebbins ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: None OTHERS PRESENT: Frederic M. Grosser, Members of the Media A. ROLL CALL Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:02 p.m. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Trustee Charles Smyth made a motion to approve minutes from November 2, 2015 and November 23, 2015(Special). Trustee Aaron Ammons seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. C. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS The following items were presented in omnibus fashion: 1. Town Fund 2. General Assistance Fund Trustee Charles Smyth made a motion to approve the Town Fund in the amount of $55,019.99 General Assistance Fund in the amount of $15,824.99. Trustee Dennis Roberts seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. D. REPORTS OF OFFICERS There were none. E. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS There was none. F. UNFINISHED BUSINESS a. Discussion: Tax Levy, Fund Balance and Budget Projections Cunningham Township Board Meeting Minutes: Monday, December 7, 2015 Page 2 of 2 Mayor Prussing started the discussion by going over documentation she prepared regarding the Town Board Budget and the possibility of lowering the tax levy. Discussion ensued. G. NEW BUSINESS 1. Closed and Open Session to Consider Township Attorney Frederic M. Grosser stated that there is no need to go into closed session at this time. Mr. Grosser stated that at this time the wait is on the ruling from the Appellate Court after the verbal arguments hearing from October 22, 2015 and that the Court will provide a written decision within 60 days. At this time it is a waiting period for a decision. H.
