Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. Smyth Assessor: Wayne Williams ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: None ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Danielle Chynoweth, Supervisor OTHERS PRESENT: Frederic Grosser; Kay Meharry I. ROLL CALL Chair Marlin called the Public Hearing of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:01 p.m. Chair Marlin opened the hearing and stated the purpose of the hearing, which was to receive public input on a proposed property tax increase for the Town of Cunningham for 2019. She read the hearing notice, as follows: The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for 2018 were $1,184,454.38. The proposed corporate and special service property taxes to be levied for 2019 are $1,471,733.56. This represents a 24.3% increase over the previous year. The property taxes extended for debt service and public building commission leases for 2018 were $0. The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building commission leases for 2019 are $0. This represents a 0.00% increase over the previous year. The total property taxes extended or abated for 2018 were $1,184,454.38. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2019 are $1,471,733.56. This represents a 24.3% increase over the previous year. Chair Marlin opened the public hearing to the public. No one came forward. II. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was none. Page 1 of 2 III.
