Vine Street Monday January 7, 2019 The City Council and the Board of Cunningham Township of the City of Urbana, Illinois, met in Special Joint Session on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Maryalice Wu, City Council Member and Trustee Ward 1; Eric Jakobsson, City Council Member and Trustee Ward 2; Vacant - Ward 3; Bill Brown, City Council Member and Trustee Ward 4; Dennis Roberts, City Council Member and Trustee Ward 5; Dean Hazen, City Council Member and Trustee Ward 6; Jared Miller, City Council Member and Trustee Ward 7; Diane Wolfe Marlin, Mayor and Chair; Charles A. Smyth, City and Town Clerk ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: None ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Wayne Williams, Assessor, Cunningham Township Danielle Chynoweth, Supervisor, Cunningham Township STAFF PRESENT: Carol Mitton; James Simon, Todd Rent OTHERS PRESENT: None A. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL There being a quorum, Mayor and Chair Marlin called the joint meeting of the Urbana City Council and Cunningham Town Board to order at 8:25 p.m. following a meeting of the Urbana City Council. B. PUBLIC INPUT There was no public input. C. Closed Session to Review Closed Meeting Minutes pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21) A motion to go into closed session to review closed meeting minutes pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21) was made by City Council Member Brown, seconded by City Council Member Miller, and passed by roll call vote (6-0): Voting Aye: Brown, Hazen, Jakobsson, Miller, Roberts, Wu Opposed: none The City Council/Trustees, Mayor, and staff moved to the 2nd floor Executive Conference Room at 8:26 pm.  Page 2 of 2 The City Council and Mayor returned to council chambers at 8:47 pm. The body went back into open session at via motion by CM Wu, seconded by CM Roberts and passed by unanimous voice vote. D. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the joint meeting, Mayor and Chair Marlin declared the meeting adjourned at 8:48 p.m. Charles A.
