Tuesday 5:30 p.m.
The special session of the City Council, City of Vermillion, South Dakota
was held on Monday July 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fire/EMS Station 1
training room.
1. Roll Call
Present: Thaler, Leber, Price, Holland, Jennewein, Cheeseman, Mayor Cole
Absent: Hellwege, Murra
2. City Council Orientation
Matthew Fairholm facilitated a City Council orientation session to teach
proper council etiquette. Fairholm did an exercise to understand the
social styles of the council and how to intermingle together.
3. Adjourn

Council Member Cheeseman moved to adjourn the Council special session at
7:36 p.m. Council Member Leber seconded the motion. Motion carried 7 to
0. Mayor Cole declared the motion adopted.

On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, beginning at 5:30 p.m., some of the Vermillion City
Council members will gather for an orientation session. A quorum of City
Council members may be present. No City Council action will be taken.

Council Meetings: City Council regular meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. If a
meeting falls on a City holiday, the meeting will be scheduled for the following Tuesday.

Channel 3.
