CITY OF VERONA MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE MAY 12, 2014 VERONA CITY HALL 1. The meeting was called to order by William “Mac” McGilvray at 6:30 p.m. 2 Roll Call: Elizabeth Doyle, William “Mac” McGilvray, Jack Linder. Also present: Bill Burns, City Administrator; Brad Stiner, Alderperson; Ron Rieder, Director of Public Works. 3. Approval of the 4/28/2014 Finance Committee Minutes: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the 4/28/2014 Finance Committee minutes. Motion carried 3-0. 4. Payment of Bills: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Doyle, to approve the payment of bills in the amount of $486,046.87. Motion carried 3-0. 5. Payment of Out-of-Office Checks: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the payment of out-of-office checks in the amount of $8,974.41. Motion carried 3-0. 6. Service and License Agreement with Icon Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a CivicPlus for the redesign and hosting of the City Website: Mr. Burns presented a service and license agreement for the redesign and hosting of the City website. The Finance Committee previous discussed options for the City website and the consensus was to utilize CivicPlus. This vendor provides a user friendly interface designed for local government and a fully customized website design. The City has the ability to choose between an all-inclusive or an ala carte pricing model. The recommendation is to utilize the all-inclusive model which provides the most flexibility on available modules with only a modest increase in cost. The terms of the service and license reflects items requested by the City including the ability to do an additional redesign of the site after 36 months at no additional cost if desired by the City. Motion by Linder, seconded by Doyle, to recommend that the City Council approve a service and license agreement with Icon Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a CivicPlus for the redesign and hosting of the City Website. 7.
