CITY OF VERONA MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE NOVEMBER 24, 2014 VERONA CITY HALL 1. The meeting was called to order by William “Mac” McGilvray at 6:30 p.m. 2 Roll Call: Elizabeth Doyle, Jack Linder, William “Mac” McGilvray. Also present: Bill Burns, City Administrator; Cindy Engelke, Finance Director; Heather Reekie, Alderperson; Brad Stiner, Alderperson; Evan Touchett, Alderperson; Dale Yurs, Alderperson. 3. Approval of the 11/10/2014 Finance Committee Minutes: Motion by Linder, seconded by McGilvray, to approve the 11/10/2014 Finance Committee minutes. Motion carried 3-0. 4. Payment of Bills: Motion by Linder, seconded by Doyle, to approve the payment of bills in the amount of $973,704.65. Motion carried 3-0. 5. Agreement Between Musser Appraisal Service and the City of Verona for the Annual Maintenance of Commercial and Personal Property Assessment Services: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve an agreement between Musser Appraisal Service and the City of Verona for the Annual Maintenance of Commercial and Person Property Assessment Services. Motion carried 3-0. 6. Resolution R-14-049 Approving the 2015 City of Verona Budget: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to recommend that the Council approve Resolution R-14-049 approving the 2015 City of Verona Budget as amended by the Committee of the Whole on November 17, 2014. Motion carried 3-0. 7. Resolution R-14-050 Approving the Levy of Property Taxes for City Purposes: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to recommend that the Council approve Resolution R-14- 050 approving the levy of property taxes for City purposes. Motion carried 3-0. 8. Adjournment: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Doyle, to adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting at 6:42 p.m. Motion carried 3-0.
