CITY OF VERONA MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE AUGUST 10, 2015 VERONA CITY HALL 1. The meeting was called to order by Mac McGilvray at 6:38 p.m. 2 Roll Call: William “Mac” McGilvray, Jack Linder. Absent (excused): Elizabeth Doyle. Also present: Jon Hochkammer, Mayor; Brad Stiner, Alderperson; Kami Scofield, City Clerk. 3. Approval of the 8/10/2015 Finance Committee Minutes: Motion by Linder, seconded by McGilvray, to approve the 8/10/2015 Finance Committee minutes. Motion carried 2-0. 4. Payment of Bills: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the payment of bills in the amount of $880,894.47. Motion carried 2-0. 5. Out-of-Office Checks: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the payment of out-of-office checks in the amount of $468,833.59. Motion carried 2-0. 6. Donna Corso Claim for Injury and Damages as a result of a fall at 108 Paoli Street: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to recommend that the Common Council deny the claim from Donna Corso for damages sustained as a result of a fall at 108 Paoli Street. Motion carried 2-0. 7. Debra Richards Claim for Injury and Damages as a result of a trip and fall at 120 Enterprise Drive: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to recommend that the Common Council deny the claim from Debra Richards for damages sustained as a result of a trip and fall at 120 Enterprise Drive. Motion carried 2-0. 8. Adjournment: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting at 6:45 p.m. Motion carried 2-0.
