CITY OF VERONA MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE MARCH 28, 2016 VERONA CITY HALL 1. The meeting was called to order by Elizabeth Doyle at 6:30 p.m. 2 Roll Call: Elizabeth Doyle, Jack Linder. Absent (excused): William “Mac” McGilvray Also present: Bill Burns, City Administrator; Jon Hochkammer, Mayor; Brad Stiner, Alderperson. 3. Approval of the 3/142016 Finance Committee Minutes: Motion by Linder, seconded by Doyle, to approve the 3/14/2016 Finance Committee minutes. Motion carried 2-0. 4. Payment of Bills: Motion by Doyle, seconded by Linder, to approve the payment of bills in the amount of $243,666.16. Motion carried 2-0. 5. Approval of Proposal with PAA for City of Verona Administrator Recruitment: Motion by Linder, seconded by Doyle, to recommend that the Common Council approve an agreement with Public Administration Associates (PAA) to assist with the recruitment process for the City Administrator and to authorize the Personnel Committee to review the position description and approve the positing of the position. Motion carried 2-0. 6. Approval of Proposal with Ehlers and Associates to Provide TIF District Closure Assistance: Motion by Linder, seconded by Doyle, to approve a proposal from Ehlers and Associates to provide assistance with the TIF 7 closure process on an hourly basis at a rate of $255 per hour. Motion carried 2-0. 7. Adjournment: Motion by Linder, seconded by Doyle, to adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting at 6:55 p.m. Motion carried 2-0.
