City of Verona Finance Committee City Hall – 111 Lincoln Street Verona, WI 53593-1520 MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE MARCH 13, 2017 The meeting was called to order by William “Mac” McGilvray at 6:00 p.m. Roll Call: William “Mac” McGilvray, Jack Linder, and Elizabeth Doyle. Also present: City Administrator Jeff Mikorski and Finance Director Brian Lamers Discussion and Possible Action regarding approval of 02/27/2017 Finance Committee minutes: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the 02/27/2017 Finance Committee minutes. Motion carried 3-0. Discussion and Possible Action regarding the payment of bills: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Doyle, to approve the payment of bills totaling $205,470.74. Motion carried 3-0. Discussion and Possible Action regarding the payment out-of-office checks: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the payment of bills totaling $12,496,065.93. Motion carried 3-0. Discussion and Possible Action regarding a resolution designating public depositories and authorizing financial signatories for the City of Verona, Dane county, Wisconsin a motion by McGilvray, seconded by Doyle to approve Resolution R-17-016 designating signatories for the City of Verona. Motion carried 3-0 Discussion and Possible Action re: Investment Services for the City of Verona. Members discussed the two presentations at the last Finance Committee meeting and directed the city Administrator to schedule additional presentations for investment services. Adjournment: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Doyle, to adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting at 6:25 p.m. Motion carried 3-0.
