City of Verona Finance Committee City Hall – 111 Lincoln Street Verona, WI 53593-1520 MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE JULY 28, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Alder Patrick Lytle at 6:15 p.m. Roll Call: Alder Patrick Lytle and Alder Spencer Harrison were present. Chairperson Mara Helmke was excused. Also present: Mayor Luke Diaz, City Administrator Jamie Aulik and Finance Director Brian Lamers Public Comment: None Discussion and Possible Action regarding approval of July 14, 2025 Finance Committee minutes: Motion was made by Harrison, seconded by Lytle to approve the July 14, 2025 Finance Committee minutes with no changes noted. Motion carried 2-0. Discussion and Possible Action regarding 2026 Budget Updates: Lamers stated that there has been Capital budget discussion with some updates. Departments deadline for the Operating budgets are 7/30/25, just starting to get some back. Discussion and Possible Action regarding the payment of bills: Motion was made by Harrison, seconded by Lytle to approve the payment of bills totaling $767,773.10. Motion carried 2-0. Adjournment: Motion was made by Harrison, seconded by Lytle to adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting at 6:28 p.m. Motion carried 2-0.
