CITY OF VERONA POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2020 AT, 6:00 P.M. VERONA CITY CENTER 111 LINCOLN STREET MINUTES 1. Call to Order: by Delora Newton at 6:00 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Commission: Delora Newton, Louis Eifert, Paul Curtis and Cole Leystra. Also Present: City Administrator, Adam Sayre, Human Resources Coordinator, Mitch Weckerly, and Oregon Fire Chief, Glenn Linzmeier. 3. Fire Chief candidate presentations: 4. Approval of Minutes: Motion by Leystra, seconded by Eifert, to approve the minutes of the January 9, 2020 meeting of the Verona Police and Fire Commission. Motion Carried: 4-0. 5. Moved by Newton, seconded by Curtis, to convene into CLOSED SESSION at 7:07p.m., pursuant to WI State Statute 19.85 (1)(c) and (e), for the purpose of interviewing the candidates for Fire Chief. Motion Carried: 4-0. 6. Moved by Eifert, seconded by Curtis, to return to OPEN SESSION at 8:42 p.m. for discussion and possible action regarding the closed session. Motion Carried: 4-0. 7. Adjournment: MOVED by Curtis, seconded by Eifert to adjourn at 8:43 p.m. Motion Carried: 4-0.
