MINUTES
1. Call to Order by Louis Eifert at 5:33 pm.
2. Roll Call: Louis Eifert, Mylinda Heil & Rohit Yallamraju
Also present: Verona Police Chief Dave Dresser and Verona Fire Chief Dan Machotka
3. Approval of Minutes: Moved by Eifert, seconded by Yallamraju to approve the October 16, 2023,
minutes of the Verona Police and Fire Commission.
Motion Carried: 3-0.
4. Moved by Eifert, seconded by Heil to convene into closed session pursuant to Sec. 19.85(1) (c) and (e),
WI State Statue, for the following purposes:
a. Update from Police Chief Dresser on the existing recruitment process and interview two police lateral
transfer applicants.
Motion Carried: 3-0. Police Chief Dresser was invited to remain in closed session.
Closed session from 5:45 p.m. – 6:59 p.m.
5. Moved by Heil, seconded by Yallamraju to return to open session for discussion and possible action
regarding the closed session.
Motion Carried: 3-0.
6. Moved by Heil, seconded by Yallamraju to certify police candidates 102 for further consideration for
the position of Police Officer.
Motion Carried: 3-0.
7. Adjournment: Moved by Eifert, seconded by Heil to adjourn at 7:10 p.m.
Motion Carried: 3-0.
