MINUTES
1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Ald. Charles at 6:02 p.m.
2. Roll Call: Members Present: Jeremy Charles and Evan Touchett. Scott Manley
was absent and excused. Others Present: Kami Lynch, City Clerk.
3. Approval of Minutes. Motion by Touchett, seconded by Charles to approve
the minutes of the February 25, 2013 meeting. Motion carried 2/0.
4. Discussion and possible action regarding Ordinance No. 13-824 amending
Chapter 7 of Section 7 and repealing Chapters 9 and 14 of Section 7 of the
City of Verona Code of Ordinances- Licensing and Regulation; Street Use
Permits, Special Events. Ord. 13-824 was amended to clarify the amount of
signatures required on the Petition for Street Use for Neighborhood Events.
Motion by Touchett, seconded by Charles to recommend approval of
Ordinance 13-824 to the Common Council as amended. Motion carried 2/0.
5. Discussion and possible action regarding Ordinance No. 13-825 amending
Chapter 2 of Section 7 of the City of Verona Code of Ordinances- Licensing
and Regulation; Fermented Malt Beverages and Intoxicating Liquor. Motion
by Touchett, seconded by Charles to recommend approval of Ordinance 13-
825 to the Common Council as amended, allowing for the cleaning up of the
existing Ordinances spelling and grammar. Motion carried 2/0.
6. Adjournment. Motion by Charles, seconded by Touchett to adjourn the
meeting at 6:13 p.m. Motion carried 2/0.
