CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, JUNE 24, 2013 1. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson William McGilvray at 5:30 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Present: William McGilvray, Luke Diaz, Heather Reekie. Also present: Bob Gundlach, City Engineer, Bill Burns, City Administrator, Bryan Kleinmaier, City Attorney, Matthew Fortney, Epic Attorney, Ron Rieder, Public Works Director. 3. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Reekie, to approve the minutes of the May 13, 2013 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 3-0. 4. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Reekie, to approve the Temporary Roadway Easement Agreement as presented between the City of Verona and Epic Systems Corporation. Motion carried 2-0. Diaz abstained. 5. Discussion regarding the Draft Well Head Protection Ordinance: MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Reekie, to table this item to the July 22, 2013 meeting. The Committee asked that Joel Giraud from AECOM be present to answer any questions pertaining to the plan and ordinance. Motion carried 3-0. 6. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Reekie, to approve Change Order #2 for Well 5 Pump Station and Reservoir in the amount of $79,636.00. Motion carried 3-0. 7. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Reekie, to approve the Agreement between Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District and the City of Verona for the extension of approximately 1,150 L.F. of the Lower Badger Mill Creek Interceptor Phase 3. Motion carried 3-0. 8. MOVED by Reekie, seconded by McGilvray, to table Item #7 to the July 8, 2013 Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee meeting. Motion carried 3-0. 9.
