CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, JULY 22, 2013 1. The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairperson Luke Diaz at 5:34 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Present: Luke Diaz, Heather Reekie. Excused: William McGilvray. Also present: Bob Gundlach, City Engineer, Bill Burns, City Administrator, Ron Rieder, Public Works Director, Joel Giraud. 3. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Diaz, to approve the minutes of the July 8, 2013 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 2-0. 4. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Reekie, to approve the revised July 18, 2013 draft well head protection ordinance with the understanding that this ordinance will come back to a future meeting for updating. Motion carried 2-0. 5. Discussion and possible action regarding the sewer and water bill for the property located at 102 Park Lane. No action was taken on this item. 6. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Reekie, to approve the contract for the 2013 Bituminous Seal Coat Project. Motion carried 2-0. 7. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Reekie, to adjourn. Motion carried 2-0.
