CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2015 1. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Evan Touchett at 6:03 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Present: Evan Touchett, Luke Diaz, Mac McGilvray. Also present: Bill Burns, City Administrator; Bob Gundlach, City Engineer; Ron Rieder, Director of Public Works; Mayor Hochkammer. 3. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Diaz, to approve the minutes of the January 26, 2015 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 3-0. 4. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval of awarding the contract to Hammersley Stone, Inc. for the 2015 Street Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $1,190,450.50. Motion carried 3-0. 5. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval of Change Order #5 for Liberty Business Park Phase I in the amount of $8,875.00. Motion carried 3-0. 6. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval of Change Order #6 for Liberty Business Park Phase I in the amount of $47,864.34. This will close the project out. Final contract amount $1,124,425.59. Motion carried 3-0. 7. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Touchett, to recommend approval of Resolution No. 15- 007 Non-bodily Injury Liability Claims Against the City. Motion carried 3-0. 8. Ron Rieder said that he would be preparing bidding documents for razing the home at 102 Park Lane. The committee raised no concerns. 9.
