PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE
MONDAY, December 18, 2017
1. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Touchett at 5:17pm.
2. Roll Call: Present: Evan Touchett, Luke Diaz. Also present: Theran Jacobson, Director of Public Works;
Jeff Mikorski, City Administrator; Jon Hochkammer, Mayor of Verona; Jeff Montpas, Angel Gebeau of
AECOM.
3. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approve the minutes of the November 20,
2017 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 2-0.
4. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz to recommend approval of project closeout and change order
no. 1 for Project ID 2017-103, 2017 Verona Street Asphaltic Rehabilitation. Motion carried 2-0.
5. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval of project closeout and change order
no. 2 for Project ID 2016-112, VACT parking lot. Motion carried 2-0.
6. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Touchett, to recommend approval of project closeout and change order
no. 1 for Project ID 2017-109, Lincoln Street Channel Phase II. Motion carried 2-0.
7. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval of project closeout and change order
no. 3 for Project ID 2015-104, Downtown Streetscape Stage 2 & 3. Motion carried 2-0.
8. Jeff Mikorski and Jon Hochkammer entered at 5:42pm. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to
recommend approval of professional services contract with AECOM for phase II of Project ID 2016-118
Sanitary Sewer Collection System Master Plan at a cost not to exceed $95,961. Motion carried 2-0.
9. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval of Ordinance No. 17-907, Amending
Section 15, Chapter 2 of the City of Verona Code of Ordinances Relating to Construction Site Erosion
and Stormwater Runoff Control. Motion carried 2-0.
10. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Touchett, to submit application to Public Service Commission regarding
Project ID 2017-115 Well 6.
11. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to adjourn at 5:53pm. Motion carried 2-0.
