CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2017 1. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Touchett at 5:15pm. 2. Roll Call: Present: Evan Touchett, Luke Diaz. Also present: See attendance sheet below. 3. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Touchett, to approve the minutes of the October 23rd, 2017 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 2-0. 4. McGilvray entered at 5:20pm. Jacobson introduced Jess Billmeyer, who presented on Traffic Impact Analysis and recommended improvements for W Verona Ave region due to development of Verona Area High School Campus. McGilvray left at 6:00pm. • Touchett wanted to know impact at S Nine Mound/Legion/Commerce, and the options for that intersection. • Roger Solberg would like a fence along Cleary property line to avoid pedestrian trespassing. • Gorrell stated initial school capacity would be 2,200, with expansion capacity to 2,500. 5. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to accept Traffic Impact Analysis improvements as noted in presentation, expand TIA documents to include S Nine Mound/Legion/Commerce intersection, and understand budgetary constraints to be presented to Common Council.
