CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2017 1. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Touchett at 5:17pm. 2. Roll Call: Present: Evan Touchett, Luke Diaz. Also present: Theran Jacobson, Director of Public Works; Jeff Mikorski, City Administrator; Jeff Montpas, City Engineer and Carla Fischer, AECOM. Mac McGilvray, excused. 3. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to approve the minutes of the October 9th, 2017 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 2-0. 4. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Touchett, to recommend approval of final payment and project close-out for Project IDs 2016-103, 2016-114, and 2016-122 Traffic Signal Projects, in the amount not to exceed $14,489.67. Motion carried 2-0. 5. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Touchett, to recommend approval of professional services agreement with MSA for land acquisition along Old PB in regards to WisDOT bridge replacement projects 5796-10-00 and 5796-00-03, in the amount not to exceed $15,000. Motion carried 2-0. 6. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend denial of payment of insurance claim by Ms. Melenie Treffert due to lack of evidence. Motion carried 2-0. 7. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval to Finance Committee of water storage maintenance program by Suez, as presented at PWSW Committee meeting September 25, 2017.
