ID-14-0599 Vicksburg Convention Center Updates Ms. Julie Ford, of the Vicksburg Convention Center, came before the Board to inform the public of the upcoming events at the Vicksburg Convention Center for the month of October, 2014 and invited the public to attend. The Mayor and Aldermen thanked Ms. Ford for attending the meeting. D. ID-14-0615 Authorize Board of Mayor and Aldermen to partner with Good Shepherd Community Center to obtain and administer FY2015 grant funding from the Mississippi Department of Human Services for and on behalf of the Good Shepherd Community Center Attachments: Daycare Program On motion of Alderman Thompson, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to authorize the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to partner with Good Shepherd Community Center to obtain and administer FY2015 grant funding from the Mississippi Department of Human Services for and on behalf of the Good Shepherd Community Center. On motion of Alderman Thompson, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, and unanimously passed, The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg approved the purchase of radio ad from Lendsi Radio, LLC for Vicksburg and Warren Central High School Football Games (October and November) in the amount of $1,180.00 total. On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Thompson, and unanimously passed, The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg approved the purchase of radio ads from KHits 104.5 and River 101.3 for Holiday Greetings in the amount of $400.00.
