Mayfield, Sr. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Alderman Willis T. Thompson. 2. Roll Call Present: 3- Mayor George Flaggs Jr. Alderman Michael A. Mayfield Sr. Alderman Willis T. Thompson 3. Board Comments: Mayor Flaggs discussed how this past weekend was good for Vicksburg because of the Alcorn Jazz Festival and Riverfest 2015 went well. He also, made recommendation that the City have an on site Health Care Facility. Finally, he discussed the upcoming rate changes for in the utility rates. 4. Adopt Agenda ADD: Executive Session: Potential Litigation Matter On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Thompson, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to adopt the Agenda as amended. ID-15-0403 Employee Anniversaries: 1. 5 years of service: Street Department - Michael Garrett; Community Service - James Johnson Mayor Flaggs recognized Michael Garrett in the Street Department and James Johnson in the Community Service Department with five (5) years of service. Retro pay is to pay employee for hours worked for his longevity of five (5) years at .09 cents from March 25, 2015 through April 14, 2015. Total hours worked 120 X .09 = $10.80 is due to employee. ID-15-0421 Position Title Change - Sewer Department (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Thompson, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve Position Title Change for Pump Station Foreman at $17.08 per hour to Supervisor Pump Station at $17.08 per hour in the Sewer Department. ID-15-0422 Resignation - Water and Gas Administration (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Thompson, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to accept Resignation from Cashier in the Water and Gas Administration.
