demolish structures with all charges incurred to be assessed against the

Mayor Flaggs stated that purchasing an advertisement from 2015 MBC/LEO
Summer Conference will bring into favorable notice the opportunities,
possibilities and resources of the City of Vicksburg and will be helpful toward
advancing the moral, financial and other interest of the City of Vicksburg.
On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Thompson, and
unanimously passed, The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg approved
the purchase of a full page ad from 2015 MBC/LEO Summer Conference in the

On motion of Alderman Thompson, seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Mayfield,
the Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman voted to approve the following Reports:
City Sexton, Privilege License, Mayor and Treasure, Detail Budget Report,
Monthly Tax Collection, Delinquent Tax Collection. The motion was
unanimously adopted by the following vote:

Executive Session:
Mayor Pro-Tem Mayfield moved the Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman go into a
closed meeting to determine if the Board should go into executive session. The
motion was seconded by Alderman Thompson. Voting aye, Mayor Pro-Tem
Mayfield, Alderman Thompson. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously
adopted.
The Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman discussed whether or not they should go into
executive session. Mayor Pro-Tem Mayfield moved to go into executive session
to discuss Personnel Action Forms for New Hire in the Recreation Programs/City
Pool (1), Recreation Programs/Jackson Street Summer Program (6), Summer
Youth Program/Human Resource Department and Alderman Thompson's Office
(1); Pay Adjustment in the Fire Department (1); Resignation in the Recreation
Programs (1), Water and Gas Administration (1); Retirement in the Police
Department (1), Street Department (1); Suspension in the Police Department (1);
Permission to Post in the Water Maintenance Department (1), Water and Gas
Administration (1). The motion was seconded by Alderman Thompson, and upon
vote being taken, the following voting aye: Mayor Pro-Tem Mayfield, Alderman
Thompson. The motion was adopted unanimously.
The Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman announced they would go into executive

M. ID-15-0639 Personnel Matter - Engineering Department (1)
On motion of Alderman Thompson, seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Mayfield,
the Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman voted to approve repayment owed by an
Administrative Assistant in the Engineering Department to the City of
Vicksburg for 3.70 leave hours, for a total of $73.78. This amount will be
deducted from her next paycheck. The motion was unanimously adopted.

On motion of Alderman Thompson, seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Mayfield, and
unanimously passed, the Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman of the City of Vicksburg
adjourned to meet 10 o’clock a.m., Monday, June 01, 2015, to take up and act
upon any and all matters that may come before the Board.
